Real Milk Paint Company

The Real Milk Paint Company has been making natural, low-toxicity finishes since 1994, and we carry the ones we reach for in our own shop. Their Pure Tung Oil and Half & Half blends are food-safe, easy to apply, and bring out the depth in raw wood without the fumes or film of conventional finishes.

Their Citrus Solvent thins finishes and cleans up brushes without petroleum distillates, and Good 'ol Brown Wax adds a soft luster over an oiled surface. These are the finishes we use on cutting boards, spoons, butcher blocks, furniture, and timber frames—wherever we want the wood to look like wood.
