The Gransfors Hunter's Axe is made specifically for the hunter: great for chopping wood and meat, with a distinctive rounded, burnished flay poll used when skinning an animal. Hold the hide with one hand and drive the flay poll between hide and flesh with the other, stroke by stroke, without the damage an ordinary square poll does. Grooves at the end of the hickory handle keep the grip steady with wet or sticky hands.

The first and only axe in Sweden to receive a design award from the Swedish Society of Crafts and Design. Hand-forged by a Gransfors Bruk smith, with a vegetable-tanned leather sheath and the Gransfors Axe Book.
