The Flexcut Mini-Detail Knife (KN27) is a small wood carving knife with a 3/4 in straight, ultra-thin blade for very delicate detail cuts.

The thin blade slips into a cut without disturbing the wood beside it. The smaller handle is faceted with several control points, so it can be held comfortably in different positions. The blade is the same edge-holding steel as Flexcut's gouges and chisels.

Flexcut began in 1986 as Falls Run Woodcarving, a custom carving shop and woodcarving school, and started making its own carving tools in 1992.
