The Morakniv 106 and 120 wood carving knives are made in Sweden from laminated steel: a high-carbon core hardened to 59-60 HRC wrapped in softer alloyed steel. The hard core takes a scary edge, the soft jacket keeps the blade tough, and generations of Swedish carvers have proven the recipe. The 120 is the short detail knife, the 106 the longer general carver, and the pair covers a spoon from roughing to finish.

  • Options: 120 (2-1/2-in blade); 106 (3-1/4-in blade); 120 and 106 together
  • 106: 3.2-in (8.2 cm) blade, 0.11 in thick, 7.5 in (19 cm) overall
  • 120: 2.5-in (6.35 cm) blade, 6.8 in (17.27 cm) overall
  • Steel: laminated, high-carbon core at 59-60 HRC in a softer alloy jacket
  • Made in: Sweden by Morakniv
