The Silky Pocketboy 170 is a compact Japanese folding saw with a 170 mm (6.7 in) taper-ground blade, for pruning, trail clearing and carpentry cuts in a pocket-size package.

The blade locks in two open positions, one in line with the handle and one for flush cuts and tight spots, and the saw comes with a clear flip-lock case and belt clip. It weighs 200 g (7 oz), 280 g (10 oz) in the case, and folds to 210 mm (8.3 in).

Pick the teeth for the wood; the handle color tells you the blade. Orange curved and red large are about 7 TPI for green wood and fast pruning, black medium is 8.5 TPI for softwood, blue fine is 17 TPI for hardwood and bamboo, and purple extra fine is 22 TPI for dry hardwood. Blades swap within the 170 size, and all five are sold as replacements.
