Rectangular in cross section for weight and superb in spindle work, this 3/4-in Sorby skew wears the recently modified rolled edges that glide over the tool rest: newel posts and table legs, one clean pass at a time.

  • Blade: 6-1/4 in high speed steel, rolled edges; holds an edge about six times longer than carbon steel
