The Tormek T-8 is the top-of-the-line water-cooled sharpening system, and it is by far the best sharpening system we can find. The 10-in grindstone turns slowly through a water bath, so the edge stays cool while it grinds; no bluing, no ruined temper, no guesswork. Tormek's jig system holds each tool at a repeatable angle, and the leather honing wheel polishes the edge to finished sharpness.

The main shaft is stainless steel, the housing is cast, and the whole machine is built in Sweden to give you a lifetime of excellent service and keep every edge tool you own performing the way its maker intended. Add jigs for gouges, knives, and axes as your collection grows.
