End grain drinks moisture faster than any other part of a timber, which is why checked, weathered beam ends are so common. Heritage Natural Finishes built this wax and end grain sealer to stop that: a non-staining formula that seals thirsty end grain and exposed joinery without discoloring the wood around it.
It earns double duty as a buffing wax over oiled surfaces, bringing an oiled finish up to a soft sheen. From the same Heritage line as the oil we finish every frame with. Sizes run from a 4 oz tin for beam ends to quart, gallon, 3-1/2 gallon, and 5 gallon for whole frames.
