A 16-in worm drive carpentry chainsaw cutting 14-1/4-in deep. Made for big timber.

Best For

  • Cutting timbers beyond circular saw depth
  • Notching and scarf cuts in place
  • Timber frame and log builders

When even the biggest circular saw runs out of depth, this is the next tool off the truck. The Skilsaw 16-in Beam Saw is a worm drive carpentry chainsaw: chainsaw cutting capacity with the control and guide shoe of a circular saw, turning cuts that used to be impossible into ordinary work.

The 15 AMP Dual-Field motor runs cool through long cuts in heavy stock, and worm drive gearing delivers the torque to pull the chain through 14-1/4 in of wood at 90 degrees.
