These economical Shinwa squares punch far above their price. Made from polished stainless steel, they are durable and rust-resistant, with imperial graduations photo-etched into the surface: 1/16ths along the 12-in leg and 1/32nds along the 6-in leg.

Photo-etched marks do not wear off the way printed ones do, so the square stays readable for its whole working life. At this price, put one at the bench, one in the site box, and one wherever squares keep wandering off to.
