The Z-Saw Rip H-300 is a full-size Japanese rip saw (kataba) with a 300 mm blade for aggressive cuts along the grain in hardwood or softwood.

The teeth are graduated in size from heel to toe and impulse hardened. The 0.66 mm blade leaves a 0.93 mm kerf and swaps out when it wears. Replacement blade No. 15013 is stocked here, and it also fits the handle of the Z-Saw Universal H-300 we sell.

Z-Saw's maker, Okada Hardware, has made saws in Miki, Japan since 1943 and was the first company in Japan to impulse-harden saw teeth.
