The Silky Outback line wears a handle of arbor composite for excellent grip in wet, cold, and game-processing conditions. The blade cuts bone as well as wood, black-plated with a nickel and tin blend that resists tree resin and wipes clean, with low reflection for quiet, low-impact work. Teeth are non-set, taper-ground, and impulse hardened, with Silky's MIRAI-ME four-angle tooth geometry for fast cutting and long blade life. Each saw comes in a hard plastic carrying case.
Three sizes cover glove box to hunting pack: the 170 (Pocketboy) with a 170 mm straight blade at 10 TPI and 16 in open; the 240 (Gomboy) with a 240 mm curved blade at 6.8 TPI and 19 in open; and the 360 (Bigboy) with a 360 mm curved blade at 6.5 TPI and 28 in open. Replacement blades for all three keep the handle in service.
