Shinwa took the classic sliding T-bevel and fixed its oldest annoyance: the lock. The thumbscrew sits at the rear of the stock, so it never interferes with laying the tool flat or with your grip, and it clamps the blade solidly enough that the angle you set is the angle you transfer.
All-metal construction with an aluminum body gives it the durability and stability of a precision instrument, from Japan's top measuring tool maker. Two sizes, 8 in and 10 in.
