The most substantial tape measure we have ever seen: the Stanley FatMax blade reaches an impressive 11 ft of standout to whatever edge you are hooking, because the blade is a full 1-1/4 in wide. Retraction and locking are solid and tough, the rubber outer casing grips easily, and the tail end, the most abused spot on any tape, is reinforced with a thermoplastic coating. We are pretty sure this tape lasts longer and performs better than any tape you have ever owned.
Five versions: a 25-ft classic, a 25-ft with a magnetic hook that grabs steel studs and beam plates, and 30, 35, and 40-ft lengths for layout on bigger frames.
