It locks your blade at a repeatable angle so every stroke on the stone lands exactly where the last one did, building a crisp bevel instead of a rounded-over one.

It accepts blades up to 15/32 in thick and 2-7/8 in wide, which covers chisels and plane irons alike, and the wide roller adds stability while spreading wear evenly across your stones. Made by Veritas in Canada.

  • Angle range: 15 to 54 degrees, set with the included registration jig, which squares and centers the blade and sets projection in one step
